Luka is like that one friend you wouldn’t mind showing up at your door unannounced, particularly in the mornings: makes a mean mimosa, whips up a princely breakfast, then does the dishes afterwards. Legend. Known and loved for their unfussy food, homey atmosphere, and very, very good coffee, Luka cafes inevitably become neighborhood stalwarts wherever they land. A wide menu of Western comfort fare—think luscious chowders, chunky salads and fully loaded burritos—spotlights local and sustainable ingredients through easy, uncomplicated preparations. Dishes and drinks are made from scratch wherever possible by a passionate team of chefs, brewers and baristas, while monthly specials centered around seasonal produce shout out the cafe’s artisanal suppliers. Luka at SIRI HOUSE adheres to these same hands-on practices while perfecting new ones, including a range of specialty single origin cold brews developed in-house and for the house.

At the SIRI HOUSE edition of Quince, the focus in the kitchen is quite literally on the fire: smoking, grilling, and roasting over open flames honors the most ancient of cooking methods to fragrant, flavorful effect. Meats, seafood, vegetables, and even desserts all bear the mark of the grill—gorgeous chars, heady smoke, a symphony of sizzles streaming from the open kitchen—making for a full-sensory eating experience that speaks directly to our primal side, albeit beautifully presented.

Along with iconic outfits and a woman’s touch, there was something else Jacqueline Kennedy brought to the White House: a well-stocked bar. Taking style and hosting cues from Jacqueline (the woman), Jacqueline (the bar) espouses ease, comfort and making one feel at home—except in this home, you won’t have to lift a finger. Sink-into sofas fill the handsomely lit interiors, while a wraparound bar extending to the outdoor terrace ensures that no matter where you post up, your glass is never empty. The cocktail menu pays homage to mid-century American martini culture, punctuated with several modern and feminine creations. Jackie-O would approve.
